Jan Jaffe
I am the founder and project leader of GrantCraft satisfying a life-long curiosity about how one learns their craft once on the job.
I was the Ford Foundation’s first learning director, a designer of orientation and professional development seminars and one of the architects of the program division’s organizational changes in the ‘90s. I began my philanthropic focus with program-related investments at the Ford Foundation and then creating learning opportunities for PRIs in the field. Prior to that, I was in the public sector where I helped create and run the first Urban Homestead Program for the City of Philadelphia.
I have a masters in urban and regional planning and in business from the University of Pennsylvania.
